I Choose You

from 10/2/11- find the whole message on iTunes.

October 2, 2011

Thanks to all who have done this: family, friends – from here and other parts of the world.

Our lives are made up of a million choices. Those choices determine to a large degree the texture, color, and vibrancy of our life experiences.

The most important choice of my life wasn't initially made by me – but by my Heavenly Father –
Paul wrote: Eph 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

He chose me – I'm just glad that he gave me the grace to agree with his choice.

Other choices have set my course in life – Saying yes to God's call to vocational ministry, choosing Deborah as my life partner, and a plethora of other choices – big and small along the way. All of them have had significant impact on me and those around me.

It strikes me today that there are still some very important choices for me to make at this time in my life. And the one that seems to be of the greatest consequence to me is the choice between my history and my destiny – between my past and my future – my memories and my dreams.

I look on my history with a sense of appreciation for the blessings that have come my way, for the relationships that have populated it, and for the journey I have been privileged to walk on. If I had it to do over again – I'd do it over again.

History – I thank you – but Destiny – I choose you.

My past has some really great moments – some modest achievements and a few meaningful transitions and transformations. In my past I've experienced a lot of forgiveness, great mercy, and an abundance of grace – and I needed every bit of all three. I reflect on my past with a warm sense of satisfaction for the challenges, joys and love that made it what it is.

Past – I applaud you – but future – I choose you.

I have memories and wonderful experiences to fill a book – in fact they have. Great memories of life changing experiences – moments in the presence of God that have rocked me – have rocked us all. We have Memories of moments in the Glory that have wrecked us for anything less. Memories of battles fought and won – of being knocked down only to get back up stronger. Memories so great and meaningful that when I speak of them or think of them I can experience the feeling of them all over again. I recall my memories with a depth of contentment that is very rewarding.

Memories - I cherish you - but dreams – I choose you.

I choose my destiny over my history, my future over my past, my dreams over my memories – I choose to live in the "from this moment on" of life.

Where our present and future meet is the place where our greatest battles, therefore our greatest victories still await us. What's ahead holds testimonies of legendary proportion. Our future experiences will be the stories we will tell our children – stories they will tell their children and their children's children.

It is in "from now on" that dreams become reality and that which we hope for is realized. It is from this moment that we step further into the prophetic destiny of our true identity as dreamers, believers and friends.

I believe there are three choices that determine much of the quality of our life: they are: the place we choose to be; the purpose we choose to pursue; and the partnerships with which we choose to come into agreement.

As for my choice of place: I choose here – I choose The Mission. I chose this place 20 years ago – and I choose it today.

As for my purpose: I choose the pursuit of his manifest presence and the increase of His Kingdom. It became my choice the day he chose me and I choose it again today. It is and will be my life pursuit.

As for my partnerships: I choose you –every child, every youth, every senior citizen, and everyone in-between that has been and will continue to be on this journey with me. I choose this community – this company of people – as imperfect as we all are – as my partners in pursuing his presence and expanding his kingdom.

After 60 years of living, 40 years of marriage and vocational ministry, and 20 years of that ministry here at The Mission – I stand with the highest level of anticipation and expectation for the greatness of the future than any other time in my life. I will not be disappointed, for together we have partnered with the one who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ask or think –according to the power that dwells within us.

Deborah and I love being on this journey with you – we choose you - thank you for choosing us.

Now stand and receive our blessing:

"May the LORD bless you

and protect you.

May the LORD smile on you

and be gracious to you.

May the LORD show you his favor

and give you his peace."

enough declarations -

from David Crone's message on 06/26/2011- find the whole message on iTunes.

Health Declaration:

We declare that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and that God is our healer.

We declare that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us and gives life to our mortal bodies.

We declare that complete health is the nature of the Kingdom of God.

We declare that the stripes on Jesus back are for our healing and that physical health is our Father's will.

Therefore, we say, "Enough" to illness, disease and injury.

We say "Enough" to cancer of every kind, immune deficiency disease, respiratory illnesses, and diabetes.

We say "Enough" to pulmonary disease, brain disorders and nervous conditions.

We say "Enough" to heart disease, heart attacks and strokes.

We declare that we have had "Enough" and we take hold of the work of the cross and receive our physical health, vitality, and strength.

Relationship Declarations:

We declare that the Holy Spirit is our peace maker and the reconciler of broken and bruised relationships.

We declare that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation as children of God.

Therefore, we say, "Enough" to shattered, damaged and estranged relationships.

We say "Enough" to unfaithfulness, irreconcilable differences, and divorce.

We say "Enough" to contention and hostility.

We say "Enough" to the enemy's plans to separate, disconnect, and destroy family relationships.

We say "Enough" to the demonic spirits of hostility, rejection, contention, control, and manipulation;

and we release the Spirit of love, generosity, thanksgiving, and grace.

We declare the return of the prodigal and the recovery of the lost.

We declare the return of children to parents and parents to children.

We declare the Godly resolution of conflict and the completion of healthy relational agreements.

And we say "Enough" to the kingdom of darkness and declare the Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy as the ruling kingdom in every one of our relationships.

Financial Declarations:

We declare that God is our financial source;

We declare that His resource is unlimited and not tied to this world's economy.

We declare that the day of loss is over and the day of increase has begun.

We say "Enough" to leanness and barrenness, "enough" to joblessness and foreclosures.

We say "Enough" to lost wages and decreased benefits, "enough" to business closures, bank failures and bankruptcies.

We declare that we are in agreement with Gods' "Enough" and that our God is more than enough.

Therefore, we declare:

Jobs and more jobs; raises and bonuses, increased benefits, sales and commissions, settlements, estates and inheritances

We declare:

rebates and returns, checks in the mail, gifts and surprises, found money, debts paid off, bills decreasing, and blessings increasing.

We say "Enough" to limited supply and declare our allegiance to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think.
